Description/Blazon
A rectangular shield 2 inches (5.08 cm) in width and 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height overall divided vertically in half and arced at the top and bottom having centered overall a horse's head in profile, all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border.


Symbolism
The thoroughbred horse's head refers to the horse racing history of Lexington. The horse resembles a knight chess piece and refers to the Field Artillery mission with the ability to strike behind enemy lines.
