On a disc, in chief a cloud formation debruised by a Southwest Asian Greater Spotted Eagle rising, wings elevated and displayed body, beak and feet Or, above in sinister base a dexter gauntlet of the third detailed of the fourth, all within a narrow border.
Attached above the disc, a scroll edged with a narrow border and inscribed "STRENGTH THROUGH KNOWLEDGE"

The Greater Spotted Eagle refers to the unit's location in Southwest Asia and represents the Iraqi Air Force's ability to fly again due to the assistance given by the United States Air Force. The clouds symbolize striving for perfection as the Squadron partners with Iraq in building a democracy. The gauntlet alludes to the guidance and expertise given to the Iraqi Air Force by the United States Air Force.
