Description/Blazon
On a shield per fess nebuly abased, the nebuly fimbriated, within a fimbriation border of the third; all surmounted by a sword, with markings, in pale, hilt and pommel to chief; the sword between a pair of wings Or tips upward.
Attached below the shield, a scroll edged with a narrow border and inscribed "AIR COMBAT COMMAND"
Symbolism
The upper field represents the sky; the lower field, the embattled ground forces. Both are protected by wings which are symbolic of aerial supremacy gained through unblemished personal combat, depicted by a sword.
